Just bought Rock Band 2 Bundle

Hey guys,
I just got my Rock Band 2 for xbox360 and I really do enjoy it. I didn't buy it from the store, I got mine previously owned. I was told that the person that had the drum set had sent it into EA for repairs (I'm beginning to think this isn't the case). Well I noticed after a few songs that every time I hit the green pad, the game also registers a red hit. Is this a known problem? Is there an easy fix? If not, can I even get it replaced?

You most likely cannot get it replaced by EA. Two things:

1) The warranty technically only applies to the original purchaser of the product. That's written out in the Warranty:

2) It's probably been more than 60 days since it was originally purchased, putting it outside the warranty period anyway.

Is there anything I can purchase to fix it. I'd prefer not to have to buy a new set.
