Question about Solo buttons..

(I searched a couple of threads and didn't find my answer; just thought I should say)
I understand that you can only use the solo buttons during solos, but during the solo can you strum to make it register? Say the note chart is G-R-Y-B-B. Can you strum to hit that last blue or do you have to tap the button again?

Yeah, you can do either or. Strum it or tap it.

You can use to solo buttons to play the whole song, but you have to strum where you would normally strum. They are just smaller versions of the bigger buttons.
