My guitars strum bar has some how survived since the 20th. A rare instance it will not read strums but after beating on it its fine again. My bass pedal has also survived besides the ever small crack on the side.
But my whammy has broken completley. By broken i mean the guitar doesnt read it. Is this something EA will replace a guitar for? I cant live without a whammy. It is the only thing keeping me from top 10 spots and even the godly number 1 spot. I just simply cannot live with a faulty guitar.
Anybody else have this problem? any fixes?
Edit: Whammy sits off of the guitar like it should. It isnt a busted spring, but for some reason it wont register when i use it.

Does the whammy bar just rest against the guitar with no resistance? If so, you could take a rubber band and wrap it around the whammy bar and then extend it to the screw that holds the guitar strap at the bottom of the guitar. If that is not the problem, then basically all you can do is contact EA support or go to their support website that is printed on the pink piece of paper that came with the bundle. Hope this helps!

This happened to me too.
Open up the guitar (doesn't void the warranty) and use a small rubber band where the original crappy spring was.
Or, if you don't want to open the guitar, put one end of a rubber band around the whammy bar, and the other around the nub for the guitar strap. Viola!

Oh sorry guess i wasnt clear enough. The whammy bar is in good condition as far as resting postion. It sits out off of the guitar like it should. But when i try to use it it does not register.

Certainly if it is broken, it qualifies at a warranty repair.
