lol i cant belive how bad Rock Band made GH Look i mean dont get me wrong i cant wait to play GH III but all the stuff Harmonix talked about on on the spot made RB look twice as better(Switch Geetar Styles,5 SOlo Buttons,Create A Person And Take Him/Her Online) I CANT WAIT IT BLEEDS! (im not emo i just cant Effing wait) im marking Nov 6th right now on my calender im pre ordering RB 2morrow i cant wait!!...anyway just sharing my comments out loud here

I think it's more like Rock Band being on par with what they've done before and GH making themselves look bad. However it's possible they're holding onto their really great songs untill later and RB is starting with them and it'll be downhill from here.

I really highly doubt this. They have already shown to have a hell of a lot more pull with MTV and EA on board, i mean there are more master tracks announced for the first few tracks than the first 2 guitar heros combined. Plus metallica. Plus the Who's entire album. It's only going to get BETTER from here on, or at the very least I don't see it getting worse.

Yep, I can only see blue skies for Harmonix. Only thing I'm disappointed with is that Welcome to the Jungle might not make it into the game given that it is a Guitar Hero III track now, but who's to say they can't share? I'd love to see Paint It Black in Rock Band.

I think the one that blows GH 3 off the track is the fact that you'll be playing more instruments, how the guitar looks and feels, and the character creation system.

I mean comeon, you have to admit alot of people were probably expecting a Create a Character system in GH 3.

As much as i loved the GH Games but , i gotta hand it to HMX they have outdoned themselves with RockBand and thats what am getting this Holiday Season :D

That's the problem,it's pretty hard to get much better than The Who and Metallica. Zeppelin and AC/DC is about it. Best GH 3 got right now is GnR and Rolling Stones and since they had them for GH 2 it's not a huge deal. Don't want to get down to the last 2 songs again and have it be some rubbish from Checkoslovacia no one's ever heard of and a song they pulled off youtube. Though I guess there's hope it won't get worse.

Although I will be getting both games, I'm way more excited for Rock Band. Not only is the track list awesome but the DLC sounds like it will be too

I like how rock band is gonna be but im gettin both gh3 for ps2 abd rock band for ps3 so im pretty happy

As said in gamespot Harmonix isnt making a game theyre making a "platform".

Just like any platform it is continuously improved upon and taken care of.......... this is what excites me most. Harmonix is striving for more than a game but a unique music community.
