Yo, MGK (Guitarist Extrodinaire) here, looking to start up a new band with dreams of Battles on the horizon.

As far as the name for the band, I've an idea already (Buredosaudo, which translates to Sound Blade in Japanese as I'm told), but am open to other ideas. So leave your friend code in your reply, and for fun, a bio of the character you'll be using, with backround. If I get a lot of submissions, that'll be how I pick the three members.

I'll be needing a drummer, a vocalist and a guitar/bassit, and all of which being at least Hard in level. Other then that, I have no other preferences really. Let there be Rock!!!

Sounds good to me. I am a bit partial to smurf burglar for a band name though.... as far as a character bio goes there really isn't much to say. Kind of the same old story of a 70 yr old former rocker once again picking up the axe to raise money to seek retribution and vengeance against the mob for assassinating his kitten Maruchan. (yes, named after the ramen noodle) Having lost an eye in a tragic pie eating accident, it has left him with a somewhat pessimistic view toward things involved with sugar. He does, however, rock with a single minded intensity and unbridled fervor. Just don't be caught chewing gum around him......

The sounds, the feeling, the emotions of the band drew him to learn the way to express his feelings. Originally going to approach the band, instead, the guitarist taught him to play, and after touring with them as a back-up, he now looks to star in his own band like his mentor before him.

Well, that was quick! Already I got a bunch of applicants, but to those who didn't make it I'm sorry to say it's over and done. That's not to say those who weren't invited to the band can't form their own band!:D

Also, for those who did make it, I was hoping we could meet online as a group at 6:00 EST tomarrow, so we could get some excercise as a band in WT mode before hitting Battles.

If there aren't any objections, I bid thee adieu, and bring up my own character to be used, James Zyn. After being brought by an overly enthusiastic father to an AC/DC concert at a young age, his hearing was damaged from a guitar solo, meaning he can now only hear loud sounds, music, etc. Hence why he took up the axe; it felt good to know he could produce sound loud enough to be heard by himself. He formed the band together while his hearing was increasingly going worse, meaning he needs to play louder and louder, which he hoped a band could help accomplish.

I play on Hard mode for Guitar, and Expert on Bass and Drums. I prefer to play drums though and i can also play vocals on hard mode on most of the songs, but other songs i know better i can play on expert vocals. Besides i like that band name idea you have set, its pretty cool!!! Plus i would take any friend codes i could possibly get too.

Epic that my power went out due to a freak storm yesterday too, about 10 minutes before everything. I'm sorry about not being there. I'm typing on my cellphone (lol), and it'll be up later this afternoon (they say noon-2pm EST), so hopefully I'll be on tonight from 6-10pm EST.

As for Sunday, I'll be around from 2-4pm EST, and then from 7-11pm EST. Provided the power is back on by then.
