Online sync problems?

I don't play online much so forgive me if this is just commonplace. My calibration settings seem to go out the window when I play online. I'm in the top 20 on solo guitar, but I can't hit a single fast passage online because the sync seems off. I'm consistently getting low-mid 80%s on songs I can almost ace. I haven't quit out of any matches yet cause I don't want to be "that guy," but this is pretty annoying. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?

If your sync works fine in single player, I dont see why it would be off in multiplayer. My best guess would be lag maybe? I;ve heard of cases where drums are in sync but guitar isnt on the same tv. Idk, new problem for me. Keep trying some unranked and see if its working alright in any games, otherwise idk

I'm not sure if it was a one-time thing or not, but my sync is dead on now... I tried leaving multiplayer once and going back in, and that didn't help at all. Then I left and actually went to play a song in quickplay by myself to confirm the sync was correct locally. When I went back into online play, the sync was dead on. So either it was a one-time glitch or sync settings don't take for online play if you haven't done something locally first. This is the first time I've turned the system on and gone straight to online play, so I'm not sure which it is. I guess I'll find out next time I start the unit up... though if nobody else has reported it, it was probably some strange one-time thing.

Also, now that my sync's back and I'm playing well, people are quitting on me again... ugh. That's what I get for actually taking my losses.
