I couldnt use the search feature because ps2 is under the minimum word length.
So....
Does anyone have rock band for ps2? I played it on ps3 in kmart today and I have to have it. I am having trouble finding information on it though. One site said that it was a one player game on ps2, is this true?
Im pretty much looking for as much info as I can get. Are the guitar hero controllers compatible? Where do I get drums for the ps2 version? How many players can play rock band on ps2?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

you did'nt search to hard...
Its 4 player just like the others
It comes out December 18
It will ship with a USB hub for the intruments so everyone can play
The old guitar hero controllers are very likely to work
And you can buy the game bundled together $149,Comes with Drums,Mic and one guitar.
You will NOT have online play or downloadable content...Expantion packs like GH80's are possible and probably likely if it sells well on the ps2.
Hope that answers everything.

Hey, be nice. He's right about not being able to search for PS2, I had a similar difficulty with PS3 searches. At least he said he tried to search, that's a very good start.

I think this is very much up in the air still. The old guitars are Red Octane, the new ones are EA..... I think it would be nice, but I haven't heard anything one way or another. If they're smart, they'll definitely make them compatible, since it'll sell a lot more software that way... but nothing is certain until they make an announcement or we have someone who can test it.

ehhh I noticed that after I posted it,My apologies...
As for the guitars working or not,If harmonix follows the open standards that they say they do...I think we'll have no problem,I have faith.
