Hi everyone,
Anyone know a way to dissassemble the guitar and the top part of the guitar to return to EA? I got my guitar and I snapped on that piece at the top, but I can't get it off on the old guitar. I don't want to use brute force to take it off and break the guitar. Any suggestion? Is there a button or something that will release the top part? Thanks for any help.

You have to unscrew the screws.

If you read the paper that comes with the replacement, it says that the top part will stick out of the box when you put it back in. No need to take off the top...

Just like the above poster said. The outer box is long enough to fit the guitar with the head attached to it.

As mentioned the instrustions state the guitar will stick out slightly from the original box but it's in an out box so this is ok. What I did was take an exacto knife and cut the large flaps around the extended part to help hold it securly in the box. yes it has styrofoam blocks in it to keep the box from sliding but I didn't want the guitar to slide around either. then I just taped the flaps shut and it doesn't move anymore
