Broken Bass Pedal =[

I just got my rock band xbox 360 bundle 3 days ago and the bass pedal has already broken on the bottom right before the hinge. Am i able to get a new pedal or should i just try to fix it myself?

I just cracked my pedal and did called ea games and have a new one on the way.. or so they tell me. 125.00 on my credit card for hold until I ship mine back to them. The rep told me they have put some new metal parts on the pedal I will be recieving and it is stronger then my original one. Guess I will compare the two when I get this one in.
