All those low-level achievements combined are worth less points than the one for completing a career on Expert+. Sounds pretty trivial if you ask me.

Entirely possible. Wouldn't surprise me if even Activision realized that the appearance of a bunch of games in the pipeline makes it look like they're milking a cash cow until it bleeds.

It'll all come down to the setlist on if I buy this or not. Judging by the rumored acheivments it seems to heavily focus on the Roth era but who knows. The more Dave over Sam the better.

I still don't understand why these companies decide to include "secret" achievements in their games. Do they provide a benefit? Are gamers dumb enough to keep playing the game in hopes of unlocking it, when they could easily look it up on the 'net? Really, what purpose does it serve? I suppose it's a case of: those who achievement whore just look it up, and those who don't really don't care if they're secret or not. *shrugs* Seems more of an annoyance than a benefit to me. Inquiring minds like mine want to know...

Hopefully the set list is good. I'm not sure if it will make a difference, but I can't wait to see "Eruption" on Expert+. Between this, RB: Beatles, LRB and GH:Smash Hits, my rhythm collection is going to be overflowing soon.

Secret achievements are normally intended to be ones that their description contains spoilers about content that isn't initially publicly known about the game. That's their purpose.

That would be cool but there is a max GS allowed per game. Like 1750 or something. Not sure if PS3 has a trophy limit though, I don't think it does.

I think it's 1,000 for the game itself, and another 250 for DLC expansions. Unless they changed it.

There'd be additional licensing issues, but it would be pretty sweet if DL'ing a pack scored you something band related in the rock shop. Like a band t-shirt, or a logo you could put on clothes and instruments in the art maker.
