Overdrive on GH3 Les Paul Controller Wii

How do you activate overdrive on the GH3 LP guitar? I tilt it upwards but nothing happens so I have to press the "+" or "-" button for it to work.

Anyone else have the same problem? Suggestions?

You should be able to simply tilt the guitar to activate overdrive. Since the Wii LP uses the Wii remote's tilt sensor, I might try changing Wii remotes to see if that helps at all. Other than that, I would say to try on the GH forums to see if anyone there can be of more assistance.

^ This... sometimes one of the accelerometers gets "stuck" and you have to jar the sucker "free" (yeah, it sounds bogus, but it works). Do try a different Wii remote as it should work - in fact, RB2 is more responsive to my Les Paul's tilt than any Guitar Hero game has ever been.

Also make sure your using good batteries.



Related - the best way to test a Wii remote's responsiveness is to try the tennis training in Wii Sports - if your Mii doesn't respond to various types of swing or rotation, you have a "jammed" accelerometer.
