Problem exporting to Rock Band 2

Hi,

Like many huge fans of the game, I was too impatient for the original Rock Band, so bought a US version for my UK console whilst I was over there.
As soon as the Ion Audi Drum Rocker Kit became available over here in the UK I bought that also and pre-ordered Rock Band 2 for its UK release.

I have several songs which I have downloaded from my US account, and have paid for the transfer key on both the UK and US sites, however I am unable to see any of my downloaded Tracks from the original Rock Band there are several so this is a real disappointment.

Does this mean I now have to buy the US Rock Band 2? Or is there a way of patching the game?

It really is very frustrating that I can't play my Rock Band 1 Songs in RB2

From what I understand, the tracks are region coded (whilst the game isn't). So, since you've purchased a US copy of RB1 then you would need a US copy of RB2, and only be able to use DLC from the US store.

Kind of a bummer, I'm in Australia and just have a problem getting the export key for the UK release (not available on our PSN, and no release window for the game). That being said, all my DLC shows up as the UK release is basically the same as the AU (if it ever gets released).
