modify codes to unlock other venues

According to a person on the internet it is easy to unlock the "change venues" with a series of codes to modify the game but he did not specify exactly how to accomplish this. When I push the unlock code button it tells me to type in the code. I don't know how to do this with my controller. The manual does not describe how to type with the controller.

Can you please tell me how to unlock the "change venues" ? I went to the Playstation home but there was no response.

When you're at the Modifiers screen:
Choose Enter Unlock Code
Then you'll see a screen that say Type in a code, enter the code
Then you'll see Modifier Unlocked

away you go.
