I know this has already been said multiple times in posts, but I can't seem to find the exact one that addresses my problem.
My Red Drum pad (Not sure if its the others as well) has a major problem reading quick drum notes. Ive tried playing them hard, tried playing them soft, either way it will not register a quick drum roll.
Can anyone either link me to an article with a "Quick Fix" (A Fix without me taking my kit apart or sending it back), Or can anyone offer me a suggestion to have it work in the meantime?
Thank you

Look around the forums, do a search. Several people have reported success with taping the pad down.

Taping the pad down does help a lot but I still get the occasional miss even though I am 100% sure I hit it on time.

So just tape the pad down? I'll try ti when i get home, even if it helps some is better than nothing.
To me its just really hard to believe that nobody tested these drum models on the Hard or Expert level and that it was never noticed or caught that quick drum roll beats don't register most of the time. They just had to used at least one faulty drum kit. But I digress. Bad Manufacturing is really dampening what really is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in recent years.

My replacement drums were much better, but I still had issues with the red pad from time to time. The tape trick has got me about 90% happy with the red pad now. It still isn't perfect.

If the tapign works then I'll do it. I just feel like having Duct Tape holding a Drum pad in place for it to work properly will make my kit look... well.. shoddy. Its a shame I need to duct tape this piece of hardware together for it to work properly. I guess 180+ dollars doesnt go a long way in making sure you get quality products. =(
Rock Band the game is almost flawless (Outside of no Online BWT and a more streamlined way of finding competiton in the Online vs. modes)
Its just a shame the instruments are flawed.

Actually i'm surprised they are as good as they are for $180.
