I guess whatever it is is already done after seeing the stuff on Gamespot's E3 show but thought I'd take the poll anyway.

GH 1: It was good in the sense that no matter what difficulty you're playing on you're able to unlock things but changing difficulty meant you had to do it again.

GH 2: Didn't have to unlock anything again but being forced to play on difficulties you didn't want to or some people just couldn't so you'd be able to unlock everything.

Something new: Not sure what but I think everyone should be able to unlock everything without being forced to play a difficulty they don't want to or having to unlock everything again if they switch.

I liked the gh2 method over the gh1 method.

GH2 style was good.

Yeah, GH2 pushed the player into harder difficulties, so I'll go with GH2.

In the European version of GHII, you could unlock all songs on medium.... Once unlocked on medium you could play them on Hard / Expert. Wasn't it like this in the US version?

Well yes, you could play them on hard and expert in quick play, but you still had to re-unlock them at each difficulty during career mode.

They're talking about the extra guitars and stuff. You can only get them if you beat certain modes or get certain stats in certain modes. Lots of people still can't touch expert.

Personally I'm not too big on unlockables... it's all about the gameplay for me

Oh, I never cared about them, although I wish they were more achievable then in GHII, and yet, I voted for GHII :(

Its somewhat a new way , i READ when you connect a New instrument you unlock new stuff

That's even worse. Well maybe. I suppose it'd be pointless to be unlocking new drums if you've not got the drums but if you need the drums to unlock a guitar that's bad. There's still money in the game,I don't think having more instruments means more money.

Yes you can unlock the songs in GH 2 and play them on other difficulties but to get all possible money to unlock everything you have to play on medium, hard and expert and also there's a guitar that you only get by playing easy. The hard/expert players were complaining about being bored on easy/medium and easy/medium complained they couldn't beat or in some cases due to pyshical aliments even play on hard/expert.
