View Full Version : Solo Quickplay scores not saved?

So 3rd day with the game.

Beat Drums on medium and starting dinking around with hard on guitar playing quickplay using all the songs I unlocked via Drums.

Noticed that at the end, it doesn't save your scores from quickplay at all?

I tried finding them anywhere but it seems that unless you're using a created character 'profile', it doesn't save anything period.

Very disappointing and makes me a sad panda :(

I really didn't feel like playing all the way through career on all difficulties on all instruments just to get some scores saved.

Anyone?

For your scores (especially regarding leaderboard, etc.) are you just playing career only?

I admit, I haven't played any Quick Play that wasn't online, but I'm pretty sure I've seen bass scores recorded and there's no career for the bass. I was working under the assumption that if you used a locally created character/profile and did Solo Quick Play that it would save your best runs.

The problem is for me that even if logged into PSN( This is PS3, I don't know if 360 is different) You don't select a character for Solo Quickplay. It just shows the list of the songs and you go.

If you're online when you quickplay, it should save your runs on the leaderboards. But the instrument has to be signed into your profile. As weird as that sounds, if your drums are signed into your profile, and you quickplay on your guitar, you aren't actually playing under your profile.

The scores don't save locally though, no. To do that, you have to start a new tour or a band in BWT.

Boo Hiss Then :(

That's all I ever did for GH1, GH2, and 80s. Just play once through career on hard or medium, and quickplay all the rest on whatever difficulty I felt like. No keeping track of scores during quickplay FTL. Especially if I want to jump around difficulties without going through the whole gamut of each.

You should be able to select a character for quickplay as long as your instrument is logged into your PSID or whatever it's called. But it HAS to be the instrument you're using.

Yeah, in those games there always exsisted a local top 10 list. That's been done away with in Rock Band in favor of the online leaderboards. Technically, it's sort of the same thing, but you don't end up in first. :D

All you have to do is make a character (which is fun!) and do a solo tour! You pick whatever difficulty you want to play all the songs on and go through them. The scores will save.
Why anyone would only want to do quick play is beyond me.
