Transfering Save Data

Hey does anyone on here know if/when it will be possible to copy rock band game data on to another memory card? Right now my system says copying is unallowed so I can't bring my game over to a friend's house.

Can't you take the whole hard drive? Of course, if your friend has Rock Band (and their own characters) that won't work...
