Konami working on mysterious XBOX 360 game.

Back in December, Konami teased a new Metal Gear Solid game with a puzzling image. Many gamers guessed (wished) that it would be Metal Gear Solid 4 for Xbox 360, due to the image's use of green. As we all know, it ended up being Metal Gear Solid for iPhone and iPod Touch. The company must be amused by vexing gamers with limited hints. This time around is an unannounced project for Xbox 360. Gamezine has reported:
"Metal Gear Solid composer Norihiko Hibino's company website also reveals a new Konami title for the Xbox 360. Listed in GEN Impact's 2009 projects, the untitled Konami game is said to have earnt Hibino-san's talent for its music and sound effects.

This game from Konami could very well be in development for other platforms, though it might just be an Xbox 360 re-release/remake of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots... Nah."

I know that millions of Xbox gamers are dying for a new Zone of the Enders...okay, maybe not millions. I'm convinced that Konami has leaked this information just to mess with gamers. Kojima-san is probably sitting on his platinum thrown, snickering as I type this. This time, I'm not even going to speculate. It's much more fun when you guys do it. Any guesses as to what Konami's Xbox 360 exclusive will be?

Looks like there's a bit of mecha action lately. DWG2 and Virtual On are good, but more stuff is even better.

Though I would want a multi-platform ZotE so that everyone could feel the love.

Good point, but it's fair to assume a large amount of the income came from people wanting to see giant robots blowing things up. By the time they discovered the stupid teenage angsty storyline, Michael Bay was already swimming in their money.

I don't see it being ZoE, either... highly unlikely the new exclusive will be coming from Kojima's studio.

There are a few things that could possibly come up, but my guess it will be new IP. Then again, Konami could surprise us all and throw out a 360-exclusive Silent Hill game (not likely).

Ultimate surprise to me (almost zero chance of it happening, but would be a Day One buy from me) would be a 360-exclusive Suikoden or Ys game.

It'll be a new first person Contra with online stuff.

Of course I'd perfer a new Blades of Steel,Rumble Roses or remakes of Snatcher and Skate or Die but that's not happening.
