I'm sure theres at least a couple people out there that would like to see a Ted Leo and the Pharmacists song appear on Rock Band. A good, often political, punk band from New Jersey would be really nice to play along with the other punk songs featured in the game.
Not many good songs to find on youtube, but these should give you a good idea of what they sound like.

Pretty much anything from Shake the Sheets would be a good choice. The Songs of Cain, The Lost Brigade, and The World Stops Turning would also be rather interesting to play.
