Yeah, I got that e-mail and it said it would update me soon on it and never did. I got the e-mail over a week ago and still nothing. Today, I recieved my box for my guitar, but nothing inside talking about the game.
I mean I don't want to be pushy about a freebie, but I really want that game, haha. Any suggestions??

The free game likely won't be shipped til they get the defective guitar back.

I thought it was funny becasue I never got a UPS tracking # or anything. They just shipped it I was so confused. And the free game thing is I never even got to choose yet, but whatever. Even if it's a random, I'll be happy.

I think it was for the people who did express shipping the first week the game was released. I did the slow version so I didn't get an email.
Thanks,
-Jaime

I ordered mine the sunday after thanksgiving and got it 10 days later. I would have ordered it sooner(i only got about 4 hours of play before it went bad) but it just wasn't a priority on Thanksgiving weekend. I sent an inquiry to EA customer support. We will see what happens.

I had two RMAs, both express on the 21st and 22nd, and am still waiting on resolution on them. No free game offer for me.
So, it's not based on express shipping in the first week.

EA offered me the game on Thursday, and they asked me what I wanted and I said Tiger Woods 08. On Monday I received the guitar and the game in seperate boxes both by UPS. The guitar was second day and the game was ground.

No. It is just for the people who put a replacement order in first. Like on the 20 and 21. Because they did newer orders first and older ones last.

Not entirely true. I put in my request for my broken guitar on 11/20 and just today got my new guitar. It took three or four phone calls to support and TWO different RMA numbers because they said the first order was 'reset' when I called them asking about it. Not a single word about a free game or anything else. All they told me was I could keep the busted guitar since they had screwed up the first support call. Woo - a busted guitar for me.

The info I got from a representative was that in no way is this process done, emails are being sent out about free games daily and the lasts should go out by monday or tuesday. (thats the first email) and they also said that you are eligable to be on the list if you have been waiting since the first "few" days of release.

The guy I talked to said if I don't get the email by tomorrow to call back...I guess we'll see what happens...

I don't thinks it that because I ordered my replacement on 11/21 and didn't call support once and I still got the email.

It just has to do with ordering a replacement...not calling in to "complain"...just requesting an RMA early on...
