Question about vocals

I haven't played any previous karaoke games so I don't know how the vocals work...I understand the interface and how they basically work, but I have one unanswered question: When you sing into the mic does the phoneme detector trigger the original artists voice (or whoever originally sang in the case of a cover) or will your own voice be broadcast over Xbox Live (or whatever cheap knock-off of Xbox Live that Sony has)? I don't think anything could ruin this game, but I just want to know. I can see positive and negative aspects of both scenarios...

A 360 purist? Nice, nice. There might be an option for switching the players voice on and off over Live. If not, than I hope there are people with good voices out there. Not as good as Lordi's back-up vocals of course, but good voices all the same.

yep...360 fanboy is more like it (although mine out for repair right now (for the second time!!!)) :rolleyes: I can't wait for this game, but can anyone confirm for me the answer to my question?
