Stabbing Westward Pack #1:
1. Shame
2. What Do I Have to Do?
3. Haunting Me
Pack #2:
1. So Far Away
2. Save Yourself
3. Torn Apart
Although "What Do I Have to Do" is my favorite Stabbing Westward song, I'd have to say it may be kinda boring to play. Of course, that being said, I could stand to be bored after I bought it :P

Stabbing Westward was one of my favorite bands. However, even though "Shame" is my favorite song of theirs, it would be a little boring on guitar (not to mention extremely taxing on vocals... Chris sings HIGH on that song). For guitar / vocals (I don't know much about drums), I'd choose:
Torn Apart (Darkest Days version)
So Far Away
High
However, I would still LOVE to see:
Shame
How Can I Hold On
Lies
Ungod (if only to prove that Filter stole the riff from this song to make Hey Man Nice Shot)
On another note, do my fellow Stabbing Westward fans know that Chris Hall has a new band called The Dreaming? They released their first album at the end of January, and it's awesome. The album's called Etched in Blood and you can get it from iTunes or The Dreaming's MySpace page. There's a couple songs in it that I think would work well in Rock Band.

Shame would be good. I'd love to play drums on it.

my favorite SW song is "waking up beside you," but i'm not sure that it would be that fun to play in rock band...

I'd buy any song by Stabbing Westward in a heartbeat. My top three choices for the Rock Band experience would be:
1. Shame
2. Torn Apart (Album Version)
3. Violent Mood Swings
Incidentally, I've been listening to Christopher Hall's new band The Dreaming (http://www.thedreamingmusic.com/) a lot lately and I keep thinking that Let It Burn (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxMzSEpB8MQ), Sticks and Stones (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bsDWZu-kCo&feature=related), and What Do You Want (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tNub8gQl5s) would all be really fun to play in Rock Band. Bring 'em on!

one of my all time favorite bands. would love to play anything by them. i feel like no one remembers who they are until they hear it, and they go "o, i know this song". still wish i had been able to see them before they broke up...

I'd buy it, "Wither, Blister..." being my pick of their stuff, but there were some great songs on "Darkest Days" too.

I'd love Darkest Days as an album. I'd also love to see The Dreaming as a $1/song new band pack, as well. The Dreaming to me is pretty much Stabbing Westward, just in the exact opposite direction I would expect them to be in now (heavier, more aggressive instead of more mellow, nuanced and mature). Even though it isn't what I expected, it is VERY good. I just wish they would learn a broader emotional pallette and drop some of the angst.
Regardless, I can't wait for some Stabbing Westward in RB.

Stabbing Westward would be awesome.
If you don't own "Darkest Days" do yourself a favor and pick it up. It's their best album.

this is realistic, this should be added. it is one of their biggest singles and has sensible guitar bass drums and mic playability.
save yourself would be a success for HMX....

I'd love for some Stabbing Westward (Darkest Days era, though their self-titled would probably translate the best) to make it's way into Rock Band. One of my favorite bands.

Some Stabbing Westward would be killer.
In the same vein (even though they're rubbish now) I think something off of the first Finger Eleven album (came out around 2000 or so) would be pretty nice as well.

Early Finger Eleven was pretty good. Much better than their current stuff. Just my opinion though...

This band is long overdue. I'd definitely like some choice cuts from Wither and Darkest Days. Have any of you guys heard Christopher Hall's new band, The Dreaming?

Someone said this song would be boring to play:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajVLfxD58Is
er....huh?
Yeah, it's got a slow start (so does Baba O'Riley and hundreds of others), but once it fires up, it kicks your ass all the way from here to Sunday.
"What Do I Have To Do" FTW.

Both are good ideas! But if we could only have one three pack... I would say What Do I Have to Do, Save Yourself, and The Thing I Hate. I would really like to see them get some DLC!

I don't own any of the Rock Band games yet. I play it only when I'm at my brother's house. However, I have say that I would buy Rock Band immediately if they released some Stabbing Westward songs for the game. A criminally underrated band - how I miss them.

Doubtful.
Unless you had an album go platinum in the 90's HMX doesn't seem to care too much.
