Who do you think would win in this scenario? I got this idea from some show on Spike last night about "Deadliest Warriors". Who in your opinion would win?

If you're talking about the mob, I'd say the Yakuza would win. If you're talking about the Russian mafia, I'd say it'd be a tie.

The Tommy gun was key, as was the shotgun. A Walther against a shotgun is no matchup at all.

Well from what weapons they tested the Mafia, but I'm sure the Yakuza had more weapons.

That surprised me too. Along with Apache over Gladiator.

The Apache was a stealth / raid unit and the Gladiator was entertainment; I was not surprised. Gladiators had no battle tactics. :)

The yakuza cuts your finger off if you do something bad. The mafia "puts you on ice" if you do something bad. I feel like the mafia would win for that reason. But I dunno.

No, Yakuza demand that you cut your fingers off if you decide to leave the business. It's a way of saying it was good while it lasted. If you screw up hard, you die.

Well, yeah, but I thought they still did the finger thing if you made a mistake (but not something huge). But these are pop culture references I've seen this in, and pop culture stuff isn't necessarily true.

I did read Yakuza Moon which is a true story about yakuza but only indirectly. It was written by and about the daughter of a yakuza member.
