I know he is not a huge commercial "rock" band, but I am quite surprised to still see no FZ in any of the GH games or this game.
There would be some INSANELY fun stuff especially for Rock Band with those complex drum parts and great guitar riffs.
Maybe his stuff is just too "out there" for mainstream gamers.
Anyone else agree??? (sorry if there is another FZ thread...I didn't see one).
Potential Songs:
- Zomby Woof
- Andy
- Cosmic Debris
- Sofa (for GH)
I guess singing might be a bit challenging for FZ stuff for most people, epecially if you'd never heard the song before. But I don't think it would be that much worse than a song like Ballroom Blitz.

Well, Frank is a musical genius. I wouldn't mind seeing "Montana" either. Sorry, all you '80's Eddie Van Halen and 70's Jeff Beck fans, Zappa is the best guitarist

Yeah...the instrumentals would be unbelievably fun though. Imagine playing RDNZL or The Black Page.
Inca Roads would be a really fun full band tune...
Oh well...one can always dream...

A lot of instrumentals, but at least as many of his songs have vocals. most of his songs would be pretty impossible to port into Rock Band, I'd think, since they contain more than one metric modulation and non-standard instrumentation. The Black Page would be a nightmare to represent in RB notation, let alone read. If you really want to play stuff at that level of virtuoisty, pick up the sheet music....
Zappa is a great guitarist. mmmhh....not the best. With John Mclaughlin hanging out in the fringes....
More Zappa:
Camarillo Brillo
Willie the Pimp
Muffin Man
Watermellon in Easter Hey (instrumental)

I agree that it would be difficult to put in some of Zappa's solo work, but how about some songs from his Mothers of Invention-era? "Freak Out!" DLC = dream come true.
