1. to chat in online multiplayer, i have to hold the LT or RT on my controller(for ps3)? correct?

2. does your playlist update on online multiplayer with DLC?

3. if someone has DLC, can we play his/her songs on online multiplayer?

You can only play DLC online if you have it too. I don't know about the chat thing, I own an Xbox.

Yes, but all participants must have the same DLC in order to play it.
