I havent seen any info on the price of anything yet. Someone said they mentioned at E3 it would be 700 bucks? I honestly don't belive them.

What does everything think the price will be after all is said and done.

Well you can preorder a bundle pack from Gamestop and such for 200 dollars which Im guessing will bring all the goodies.

That price or bundle hasn't been confirmed by Harmonix.

This might be a stupid question but if I preorder the bundle pack and the price later drops or rises before the game comes out will i be paying the original price i preordered it for or the new one?

You'll pay whatever the price is at the time you actually receive the product. The price they show online is just a guess and nothing more, it's not a guarantee.

Here's my guesses anyway:

60 game
60 guitar
80 drums
20 mic

100 guitar bundle
120 drum bundle
70 mic bundle
200 everything bundle

With a little hope mixed in, though I could see the guitar and drums (and then the respective bundles) jumping 10 - 20. Hopefully there will be options to bundle different instruments with the game (maybe to limit the costs of packaging, just package everything separate and just offer instant rebates when things are purchased together at the store). I really want a drums+game bundle, but if the total bundle is cheap enough I might splurge on it so then I'd have the new guitar as well. I already have the 360 GH guitar, so I don't need a new one... but I do want a new one.

yeah, i want the new guitar as well. The drums look cool, but I was honestly hoping for alittle more out of the drum kit. 200 seems like a fair price for the entire package.

Yea I want the bundle pack because me and my brother plan on jamming together :D
Oh yea, anyone know if you'll be able to go online with 2+ players on the same system?

I hope they will, like in gears where you sign in a guest to play split screen with. Would be cool :)

I hope I have enough money by the time this comes out.. But I doubt that. :(

I was thinking about getting just the game and the drums.. but then I thought about how awesome the guitar is for this and using the GHII X-Plorer wouldn't be as fun.. Haha.. and then I also thought "what if I feel like singing for some songs?" So yeah, I'm thinking about getting the full bundle if I can afford it.

What dumbass said $700? ROFL

It's going to be $250 max for pretty much everything.

You can buy just the game and one instrument for around $100.

It was one of the Harmonix guys (Sorry, his name escapes me at the moment), he said $700-800 when he was asked how much it would cost, however it was obvious he was being sarcastic.

If you are buying the big bundle I think you are looking at a range of $150 - $250. I hope it is $150, but I doubt it, it won't be too expensive and if you think about it, it isn't a bad deal since you are buying 3 new peripherals and a game. Whatever they officially price it at will be something fair, but will probably be fairly expensive compared to any other game I have ever had to pay for, but I think Rock Band is totally worth it.

they should do a drum bundle that comes with the drums, game, and mic and then a guitar bundle that comes with a guitar, game, and mic and then they should have the game seperate and the game with everything(1 guitar, drums, mic, and game...maybe a bonus mic stand...just something plastic..throw us a bone harmonix) to me that would be ideal

That's actually what I think they will do.. It seems like the most logical idea to put out the game and a guitar or mic, like guitar hero, then have peripherals that you can choose to purchase if you want. It would be horrible marketing to put out only the game with everything included, they'd lose a bunch on people not willing to spend all that money at once rather than spread out over time.

It isn't $700. It hasn't been set yet but there is no way it will even be close to $700, Unless you buy a gold plated version from some mod guy or something.

Finally somebody who listens to reason :D

I can see it costing 200-300 canadian, for everything. I'd pay it.. I don't see it as paying for a game, but a whole new experience both musically and physically, especially with the drum set. It's really shaping up to be a really clean, professional looking game. And i think the drum peripheral may create a huge number of new, talented drummers who may not have had the chance to try it out before(And singers i suppose), because it's an easier outlet than buying a whole drum set.

It will be between 200-250. While Harmonix hasnt really announced it analysts are usually pretty accurate. And all current prices are pretty much estimates
