Today I was listening to one of my favorite videogame soundtracks, Jet Set Radio Future, and it struck me-- the song Aisle 10 (Hello Alison) (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5sQl9RSRRmI) by Scapegoat Wax would be wildly fun to play in Rock Band! It has a guitar and bass part, drums, and vocals, so it fits all the requirements to be made into a song.

What's great about this, though, is that this song has already appeared in a game for the XBox, meaning that it has been previously licensed for use in a videogame.

Now, it's not like Harmonix can just automatically create it without any paperwork, but as we've seen, songs that are licensed for videogame use tend to get the OK faster than those that haven't-- for instance, take a look at how similar GH3 and Rock Band are on a number of songs.

So what I'm saying is that Harmonix should look for good songs from videogame soundtracks to include as DLC, and we should help them! So get out there and play your favorite non-Rock Band game, and listen hard to the music. If you think it could pull off the four-man-band feel, then post it here!

I'm sure a few other songs from JSRF would be fun to play-- The Scrappy by BS2000 (a Beastie Boys spin-off band) might work, although I'd have to listen to it again to know for sure. There might be some other songs from the original Jet Set Radio, as well as possibly a few songs from the two main Katamari games...?

At any rate, feel free to add, and if you can find a YouTube of the song (to demonstrate how it sounds for those unfamiliar with the game) post it as well.
