View Full Version : How do I go about getting a replacement?

Now, first off, I recently broke my drum kit's pedal due to the fact that it's a piece of plastic and it finally just bent and snapped. I never put any EXTREME pressure on it nor do I ever stomp on it. I just hold it down all the time with the least amount of force and quickly lift/press during songs (just like the in-game loading menu recommends you due in case your leg gets tired).

I go to the Rock Band support and check off my criteria: I'm playing this on the Xbox 360, I'm having a problem with the pedal... but then it asks me if the spring is working and it kind-of is so i say "yes". Then it says if I'm hooked up to the xbox (or something like that) and I say "yes". Then it says the problem should be fixed and "rock on". There is no option about a broken pedal.

Would they even allow me to ask for a replacement or am I basically screwed? I didn't purchase the warranty from the Walmart I bought it at and their limited warranty talks about stuff like "neglect" and "abuse". I didn't do anything along the lines that they said would void the warranty. I was using it like it should be used and due to it's crappy plastic pedal, it cracked.

For anyone that has had this accident happen to them, what have you done? Did you get a replacement? Did you not have the actual "paid for" warranty? Where'd you go to replace it since the "support page" obviously doesn't "support" the idea of breaking a controller?
