Are we expected to send back the guitar strap and the short USB to guitar cable connector (that let's the guitar "break away" if the cord is tripped on) along with the broken Fenders? I wasn't sure and the instructions didn't indicate either way -- would hate to get a replacement guitar and lack either piece.
Thanks!

youre probably better off calling to make sure, but i would think you should send back everything that was included in the guitar box when you opened the bundle. i had the ps3 version and the strap, and usb dongle were packed in the guitar box, and that's what was sent to me (in the same type of box packaged in the bundle) when i requested express replacement.
i did not get batteries with the replacement. but in the bundle the batteries were loosely packaged in the box, like the game disc.

I sent the guitar itself... I wasn't sure what they were going to send back, but I did take the batteries out before I sent it.

When I got my replacement guitar, it had a new strap, so I'd suggest sending it back.
Not sure what to do with the wire, as I had a PS3 version (which included a new dongle), but maybe they'd include a new wire too. I say keep the wire to be safe. Who knows.

LOL! I thought I would be the only one taking the batteries out before I sent it. Are you as cheap as I am???? :p

Pretty much... Even though I can get a pack at the dollar store. =P
I took them out because I didn't want them to explode during shipping initially.

The instructions said to send back the guitar, not the accessories.
I kept the strap and the "dongle". as they were not the problem, and I have a hard time thinking they would send out used accessories to people.

The replacement guitar they sent me came with a new strap and new dongle, so I sent back the same thing to EA. The new guitar did not come with another set of batteries, so people should keep the ones that came in the bundle.

The guitar came with an instruction sheet and said to make sure the guitar and the return packing slip are in there and that's it. I think the dongle is guitar specific though, so what good is it?
I, for one, am keeping my old guitar for a week until the phantom p***h (don't wanna get locked out) is released so I can have a bass player for a few more days. I repaired it enough to get use for now.
I have six different guitars here now. Ridiculous. I spent $650 on these games, guitars and DLC in the last two years. It is stupid. Next thing you know Activision, RO, and HMX are gonna collaborate and start selling a Guitar Rack for all of these instruments.
I personally don't like the Strat much. The top of my palm always brushes the fret buttons causing unintended registers. I thought my new guitar was jacked too, but it isn't.
I know I am in the wrong place for this question, but how do you play the super fast notes without missing. I can't do it on RB to save mylife. Like the long strings of the same notes right on top of each other in expert mode. No matter what I try, I fail out over it.
