Please make the next Rockband compatible with all songs!!

When the inevitable release of Rockband 2 comes along please make sure to have a plan in place to import all original Rockband songs and DLC into part 2.

That way we can avoid the DLC price gouging that Activision is attempting with Guitar Hero 2.

Of course, we don't know what the RB DLC will be priced at - for all we know, that Who's Next album will be $20, and individual tracks $3.
I'm hoping the pricing will be more iTunes-like (especially given the much more limited use you get from RB songs versus a regular music file (limited in terms of what you can do with the music itself)), but that's just a _hope_ at this point.

Why can't you just use the original Rock Band disc to play the original Rock Band songs and any RB DLC? The only reason GH1 songs are DLC in GH2 for 360 is that there was no GH1 for 360.

Granted it would be nice to play your RB DLC in RB2 for convenience, but importing all of the original RB1 songs into RB2 would just be a waste of hard disk space.

Also because the gameplay was changed a bit.. namely hammer ons and pull offs. I don't think they would need to put RB1 content into RB2 content unless they made some seriously big changes, like hammer ons.
