Wireless Headset w/ drums

I just go my wireless headset today and trying to figure out how to use it with RB playing drums.

I configured it to slot 3 on my 360.

I have it on, online I can hear people but they can not hear me.

Is there something I am not doing?

Or is this a conspiracy to always ignore the drummer no matter what he says :)

Isn't there an outlet for a headset on the front of the drum console? I haven't used the microphone portion of my headset with the drums yet.

You also might want to try going to the dashboard and selecting "play through headset" on personal preferences.

whatever slot ur drums get set to, thats the slot u have to set ur headset to also.

1) There is a conspiracy. People ignore me all the time. I contribute :(
2) I have to do the first line of tech support, because it's always a mistake somewhere. Apparently it's plugged in, because you can hear voices. Is your "mute microphone" switch off?
3) Test the microphone in the Dashboard. Send a voice message to a friend (don't actually send it), but see if you're able to record it. This will help you determine if it's the game or the mic setup.
4) I don't know how the wireless headsets work, I have the standard headset that came with the console that plugs into the controllers. If there's something that would plug into the control to receive the headset, I would suggest putting that in your drums (use the adapter).
