Hey guys,
I recently had to fill out warranty forms for both my guitar and my drums, as they were both blatant pieces of ****. Via express shipping, and 2 weeks later, I got them both.
For those who like opinions on the replacements... The guitar works perfect, been using it for about 3 days now on **** like Highway Star, Run to the Hills, Foreplay/Long Time, and all the Metallica songs on expert and not a single problem at all with strumming.
The drums on the other hand... still seem to skip a beat every so often on Run to the Hills kind of thing... but I digress.
The real interesting point of this, is that when I recieved my drum kit there was no bass pedal included with it... I thought maybe that you had to SAY that the bass pedal was faulty too and that by just saying "drum kit" they only sent you exactly that - but on the "packing instructions" it mentions how to put the bass pedal in the box.
My question is this: had this happened to anyone else? What would you reccomend? I don't want to send the drums back w/o a bass pedal in the off chance they'll charge my card the $100.
thanks for your time

Crap.
I'm in the same boat here. The options to get an RMA are a joke (mic wouldn't work on the drum kit and red isn't working right), so I did the kit option. Got my replacement, mic works now, red works now, but they didn't put in the pedal in the replacement! Man I hope I don't get charged for this. What a cluster this has been. My guitar was hosed too and the one I got back looked like someone spilled water all over it and let it dry (haze on the black part). The whammy bar clacks now and it's driving me crazy. I got to get a hold of EA and figure out what to do.

Yes this happend to me. I called EA and told them I did not get a pedal and then they gave me a warranty manager. He sent me a pedal with no credit card given. I them place a letter that I kept a copy of stating that I did not receive a pedal and that I had to place a seperate RMA for one so do not charge me for the pedal. I filed the note and also the copy of the receipt that UPS gave me stating that I sent it back. So if they charge me I will be doing a charge back through my bank and I have the proof. I think this is the best thing you can do, cause if they do not receive the kit back in 21 days they are going to charge you the $150.00

If only the kit (drum pads not including the kick pedal) is faulty you should only send the kit and EA should only replace the kit. Unfortunately if both the kit and pedal are messed then you have to replace them separately. :(
