An idea...

Not sure if this has been brought up but... Wouldn't it be neat for "unsigned" bands to submit their songs to Harmonix, for free. Harmonix in turn produces a track for the game for say a dollar. All while Harmonix advertises on the track the bands website or myspace.

This would be a good way to get cheap songs, and get some recognition out there for some of our local bands that deserve to be in the mainstream.

This has been mentioned before. But, do you mean we pay a dollar to download the track? Not gonna happen. Nobody's gonna pay $1 for a track they don't know. If they let us download them for free, then we'd try them. Either that or throw them in with the bundles

Bundles would work. Thats the whole point, listening to new music, you're not suppose to know it. I highly doubt they'd release free music, but that would be neat.
