World Tour band glitch

Is anyone having an issue to where people trying to get into a band online, cant get in? For example, I join a band, select my character and the game says "waiting for leader" and I cant get into the practice space? It seems like the quickplay mode inside world tour. Other people cant get into the practice space besides the band leader........

Now it seems everytime someone is invited to the band the xbox freezes completely.

To the OP, this can be due to a wide variety of issues. Have you had issues in Band Quickplay as well as Online World Tour? Have you been able to sub in someone else's band online?

Was quick play working at that time?

Have you tried now?

Sounds more like a connection glitch than anything.

The OP is actually referring to a band on my hard drive. Yes, it's for RB2.

The situations is basically this;
-I can enter the band normally, play songs in Tour, play challenges, and enter Battles.
-If I invite people into the band who are not on the band roster, it will freeze their Xbox forcing them to reboot.
-If a band member enters the band while I am in the band, they will sit at the "matchmaking" screen with a message saying "Waiting for Beez 808". They will also be unable to enter the practice space.
-However, if a band member enters the band and continues "without leader" they are able to enter the practice space normally.
-Connection issues are not the problem as other bands on my hard drive work without issue and I have the same issue when connected directly to my cable modem.

My guess is, at some point, the save got corrupted and now whenever my xbox tries to send the data to another xbox, RB2 ****s the bed.

Thoughts?

P.S. - Also, no issues with quickplay. Haven't tried subbing in another band lately, don't think it'd be a problem though.

I am having exactly the same issue in my band ++Redo From Start++ I'm in contact with harmonix via email now...I'll post any developments.

There are a number of threads with this problem, and they are popping up more and more frequently. Here's my thread (which I'm directing everyone to since there is a kind of work-around on it):

Don't hold your breath on an answer from HMX, though. My first post was on 10/15 and they have yet to even acknowledge it.

Also, while the work-around will get people into your band, they won't be able to see any scores (which sucks if you're trying to move the chains on the leaderboards). Also, I've been noticing a lot more connection issues (random disconnects, lag, etc.) since the glitch popped up.

Beez: It's not your file, it's a coding issue most likely caused by some sort of limit we're hitting, and it's happening on both Xbox and PS3.

Pizziolo: Please post any results, as they have either ignored my queries or simply told me they hadn't heard of the issue and to "post on the forums."

I have been in contact with Harmonix. We have been trying numerous things and ruling out many of them. So far, no success except for the occasional set we can play if I remove and replace people on the roster. It seems as though it has nothing to do with DLC or song cache. I'll post any new results.
