Technically you can do this already by going into Quickplay and sorting by location.

I'm not sure they could show that information on the Rock Band site because they'd have to have access to your Xbox Live account information or PSN / WII information. I'm pretty sure there would be some "not provide your information to third party" type issues there.

I'm not so sure that's true. When you link your console up to the website, the server has full access to your band info and character info. I don't see why it would be so difficult for the server to access the DB of songs you have in your system. There would be no need to access your Live/PSN/etc account.
