RB Wireless GUITAR xbox 360 interchangeable for Wii

My question is. My friend has Rock band 2 for Xbox 360, and i have it for Wii.

Now the wireless RB guitars, dont require any Wii remotes to be inserted. All they require is a wireless usb hub to be connected to my wii. Then it picks the signal up from the Guitar. Does the Rock band guitar for Xbox 360 get registered on that Wireless usb hub? Like will it recognize the guitar, when i turn it on?

Alternatively, if he brings over his own separate USB hub, that is for his xbox, and i plug it into my wii, and then connect it that way, will it work?

it doesnt work because its 2 DIFFERENT controllers. if you dont understand it try playing SSBB on an unmodded xbox 360 controller.

you have to mod the guitar for it to work on the wii

thats pretty ignorant of Electronic Arts. Rock band 2 alone costs close to $200. plus another $70 for a guitar, thats $270 , thats the cost of a console, pretty much. They should have made the instruments cross-platform.
