Since The Sims 3 is coming very soon, I'd like to ask everyone here at the forums if they're excited about it.
I am! I'm not a "hardcore" player, but the game is really addicting.
So, anyone?

Me too. I was like WTF?
But, at least they made the game better.

Always been a fan of the Sims. It's a game that doesn't get old (to me, at least).

SimCity was fun too.
But, it was kinda dull not controlling your citizens.

Never been a fan of Sims so not excited at all about this. I'm sure my loser friend will waste more of her life sitting on her ass playing this installation of the game though

It's a PC game where you're god, and you control these mindless virtual people, and live life. It's fun though, you'd like it a lot!

I've been playing sims games before... shiiiit I don't even remember. I think the first copy I got was Sim City for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. When The Sims itself came out on PC, I was onto it and that's where my nitpicking house building, room designing and people creating all began. Ironically, I started to roleplay maybe a year or so later.
The features put into Sims 3 look great and I'll probably waste too much time on it and not post on here for awhiiiiiiiiile. Preorder + Next Day Shipping = Awesome Possum!

Yeah. The game was complete and everything! But EA thought it'd be a good idea to delay it to build up hype and market it more. What the hell, EA?

Did I mention storytelling? No? Yeah The Sims helps my warped mind with whatever short story I want to write at the time, haha.

I loved the sims but it's been so many years since I've played it on PC, and I haven't really been catching up. Don't even know what's gonna be in Sims 3 hehe. I bet it will still offer even more building capabilities than the ones in Sims 2 (which I loved to pieces).
I'm one of those Sim players that play the game paused 99.9% of the time because all I'm doing is building interesting houses. Lofts, townhomes, mansions, treeforts, half floors.. etc. :D

Unique Personalities and Real Time Neighborhoods are the most interesting features.

Especially the free-roam neighborhoods.

Oh yeah you'd be amazed.
I will surely get it, but I'm not sure about how amazing it will be. There doesn't seem to be many new features (and I've read about everything on the subject). But you can only understand if they did well while you play the game. I'm also happy that you won't need a freakin monster pc to play it. I don't get it. I can play Crysis on medium, but GTA IV is constantly crashing on the lowest settings and with all the patches. Anyway.
