You need to have GamePad Companion installed on your Mac.. and just play with the settings... meaning you have to assign the keys to the pads (or guitar buttons...video soon) and just turn on the Musical Typing feature on GarageBand;)

Nice one! Too bad the drums don't seem to have any analog/velocity sensitivity...

Can't wait to try that out... does the GamePad converter thingy cost anything?

I've tried plugging my 360 drumset into my MacBook Pro.

The ring on the drum set lights up briefly (as if it's being connected to something) but then turns off.

Also, GamePad Companion doesn't seem to find it.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to be Off topic... but

I wonder what Apples (http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/member.php?u=2999) has to say about this? :)

I have not esperience that... the first time I plugged it in it was always on... try using another usb port.... regarding the GamePad question it automatically recognizes is when you lauch the system preferences... give it another try
