Since N64 is my favorite retro game system I want to see your top 10 N64 games. I bet everyones gonna put Zelda: Ocarana of Time as #1

While I had a great time playing Ocarina of Time when it first came out, I would be the first to tell you that I don't think it's aged very well.

Star Fox 64 would have to be number one for me. I can't even remember how many times I've rented and finished that game. Smash Bros. would have to be on the list, along with Golden Eye.Super Mario 64 and Shadows of the Empire rocked hard. Dang-I gotta think about this.

Actually for me its Goldeneye = Perfect Dark. Perfect Dark improved on Goldeneye, but it lacked the most epic thing, the golden gun. :p

Perfect Dark was just Goldeneye with an original story. Everything from the game engine to the graphics were right from Goldeneye, talk about uncreative!

^3-D does not make it better. The 2-D graphics on the SNES were more clear and refined then the 3-D on the N64.

Snap was a great game but far too short. I made my little sister buy it for the Wii and preceded to destroy her scores.

I had a lot more fun and replay time with Fire Emblem (first in US) then I did all the Smash Bros. games combined, so no, it is not the best game ever invented. Chrono Trigger probably runs a better bid.

I've always been fortunate enough to get all the systems. Don't really care what system it comes on , a good game is a good game.

Most games on both systems were inferior on the Genesis. (and don't give me the , "But MK1 had blood on Genesis!") The audio quality was horrid on the Genesis as well.

Only category (IMO) it really kicked the SNES butt in was the sports games. Sega tore it up in that department.

Although I never really found Goldeneye to be a GREAT multiplayer game because of the tragic loss of bots (even then) the game is nostalgic and the single player was fun. Destruction Derby 64 is terribly underrated, and Blitz 2000 and Wayne Gretzkys 3D Hockey are some of the best sports games on the console. Other games I loved include Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Star Fox, and the other more obvious games. And oh yes, Iggy's Wreckin' Balls. Damn that game was great as a kid.

Somebody finally put Yoshi's Story in.

Actually, a couple of people mentioned it already. To be honest though, I disliked Yoshi's Story. I guess I was expecting it to be as good as Yoshi's Island, which is why I was disappointed with it.

And I think I agree with the comments that genesis era sonic was better than SNES era Mario, but both were amazing, and SNES was better with most other games.
