I was reading a little section in the magazine called "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly" and one of the parts had "Lego Rock Band" on it listed as "Ugly."
Now the part that makes me laugh was the very last line that said "Looks like the Guitar Hero franchise isn't the only one being beaten to the ground." That's where i immediately said to myself "Ok, how many Rock Band games are being released this year? 3. Rock Band: Beatles, Rock Band: Unplugged and Lego Rock Band. Guitar Hero was/is releasing 9 games this year. I don't see how Rock Band is being beaten to the ground."

Whoever wrote that is a moron. They need to get their facts straight.

I don't have internet unless I unhook the modem from my computer and use it on the PS3. Still, I feel that being able to play the game with three other people is what makes the full experience. IMHO...

Depends on where you live. My in-laws can't even get cable T.V. If you want any kind of expanded television, you have to get satellite.

They live in a private community,one that has been around for many, many years, before cable T.V.

In order for the cable companies to come in and lay the wire, they have to get approval from EVERY member of the community and there are still those that don't want cable trucks coming in and mussing things up.

So no, it's not always as easy as just "get cable internet connection."

So, let's see. 9 games, of basically the exact same thing versus 3 games that are different (similar, but different). RB:TB: Band specific RB Platform, Kid Friendly RB Platform, and a Amplitude/Frequency remix.

Let's do some basic algebra (sorta) and cancel out the equals on both sides and see what we come up with.

2009 Franchise Releases: RB:3 = GH:9 = 3/9
RB:TB = RB:VH = 2/8
LEGO: RB = Band Hero = 1/7

Well, GH doesn't have anything like Amplitude/Frequency, and RB doesn't have anything like DJ Hero, so we'll group those:

Amp/Freq = DJ Hero = 0/6

6 more games, all basically the same thing.

I won't say it's milking, but that does seem excessive to me.
