Ok here is the deal. I used to be able to talk over the headset plugged into my drumset when I would do band quickplay or score duel. That was before the dashboard 2.0 update. Now, I can't talk over the xbl with ANY headset. Not wired or wireless. I have a RMA for my drums thinking it was the connector for the headset but then I tested my RB guitar and it didn't work either.

The next thing that was F'ed up was that I couldn't send voice messages through the dashboard either. I would record a message, then play it back and it would be silent. This was with either a wired or wireless headset as well. So I tested my connection using the tool on the 360 and once I did that, I was able to listen and send voice messages again. So, I figured it was fixed and I can finally talk on the game when I go multiplayer with it.

No. Still can't talk. I can hear through the MS wireless headset for the 360 but that is it. I can't talk through the drums, I can't talk through the controller, and I can't talk through the strat.

This started since the new update for the dashboard. I know this because I was able to talk last week before the update came out. And this week it's a NO GO.

So lets recap. I can talk via voice messages on the dashboard, I can listen to voice messages via dashboard, I can hear ONLY with the wireless headset via RB game on multiplayer, but I cannot talk via RB game on multiplayer.

What could this be?

Software on RB's end?

RB not communicating with the new dashboard update that MS has put out?

I have not tried anyother games as last night I just gave up and kept playing RB on drums, I would just listen to people and not talk back.

I am going to try Cod 4 tonight and GH3 because those are the only other games I have that have multiplayer capabilities.

Thank you for any suggestions, guidance, or answer that anyone is to give.
