Hey everyone, when playing online, does any of you have experienced when the leader takes an awful long time to choose a song. He stops at one, listens for a while then keeps looking. Well I was thinking that maybe HMX should implement something so that the others members have a say on what song should they play. Like every time he leader stops at a song, the other members can press a button, lets say "select", and a Icon appears next to the song like a thumbs up or something like that, and the icon would be saying "Pick this song". What you guys think?

Well, I may be spoiled being on the xbox360, but I take advantage of a little-known device used to communicate thoughts between the players online.

I call it, "Conversation."

Yes, I know this is a foreign concept, that people should be talking to anonymous strangers online. Just make sure that you're not accepting candy from them, and if they try to virtually touch your no-no spots, you tell your parents or a law enforcement official.

Otherwise, suggesting song choice through vocal operation is a widely accepted method among the few people who use it. You should try it some time.

If you're on PS3, I imagine the system allows you to send messages to other PSN tags? Perhaps when they stall on a song, or directly after a song, you could suggest something through that? At least, that's what I do when my mic goes on the fritz.

It seems like the only option for us PS3 users, for the time being, is ESP. Hopefully Sony rolls out the in-game messaging/chatting feature sometime soon, because this game, among others, could really benefit from it.

Whenever I get to pick, I hate thinking that I am going to make someone play a song they dont like, just becuase I love playing it, so I just go to Random, and there ya go.

Or, you could just practice and practice to become leader. Then you can pick whatever you want.

But unlike Microsoft they don't force the developers to include it in online games. This is a matter of Harmonix, for whatever reason, not including voice chat.

No, it doesn't. On the Xbox, you can use the system itself, OVER the game, to chat with people. On the PS3 it's up to the game developers, most of which will NOT code it in. It's Sony's responsibility IMO.

By the way, there is no way to send a message to other people in-game. At least not yet.
