Its okay... the thing I hate about those lists is that they are all popular songs, I have heard a lot of amazing Metal songs that are not played on the radio or that are not completely well known... oh well... it still rocks since the Scorps are on it... even though I wouldn't consider them metal ... at all ;)

2) List will lean heavy towards multiplatinum bands
3) Souls of Black isnt the best Testament song

1) Threads about lists from this site need to stop. Unless you made it yourself, please don't post it.
2) The list is horrible. It basically sums up the views of somebody who got into metal a week ago.

It's too biased on a few bands to be honest.
Edit:Also, if I'm not mistaken Rock and Roll All Night was on that list. Honestly what is metal about that?

The fact that it's an overrated glam rock song. I honestly think it's one of Kiss's worst. Yes I said it.
The highest Kiss song should have been Creatures of the Night, since it is very metal.

Actually, I think most would agree with you. I'm a KISS fan, and I have quite a few friends that are as well, and we're super tired of that song. It's catchy, yes, but it's also extremely simplistic and gets really old REALLY fast.
That being said, MORE KISS FOR ROCK BAND! Book it!

Dude, I be surprise if any major Kiss fan would like the song all that much after while. My favorite from Kiss is Deuce, but I don't recall it being very metal.

They do. Though I wouldn't have given it to Hallowed Be Thy Name. Freakin' Rime of the Ancient Mariner baby!

Also, for Sabbath, where the hell is Megalomania or Heaven and Hell? Those are some of the best songs Sabbath has recorded.
I have to commend then for putting in Stargazer, though.

They are not "metal" in the today's cultural sense but Id say they straddle the line between hard rock, heavy metal, and shock rock in their albums and songs. Definately an early form of heavy metal before IT GOT ALL BROOOTAL.

I think most people associate what is "metal" if it follows the regal lineage of the NWOBHM bands that punched everyone in the face in the late 70's/early 80s and considered that bloodline true metal. I tend to know exactly what they mean. I think the one exception is Black Sabbath as they happened 10 years before and spurred on the sound of heavy metal for a decade before the new wave of brits stripped the blues and added the speed.

Kiss inspired many metal acts, but so did Led Zeppelin, The Stooges, and Iron Butterfly. They have metal elements, but are much closer to Hard Rock and Shock Rock overall.
And I like how classicrockdude now thinks he knows what metal is.

Although Creatures of the night is VERY Metal, I think that Revenge was their heaviest stuff. :)

KISS is one of those bands that go back and forth between Metal and Hard Rock.
80's KISS was more of a Metal band (albeit Hair/Glam) than 70's KISS.

No is in a commanding lead, like I said not metal to me, they're similar to AC/DC Van Halen and Lizzy, not metal.
