personally I think "countdown to extinction" would be more rockband friendly, but def at LEAST need a 3 pack.

Count me in. I'm a huge Megadeth fan and I believe Rust in Peace is their greatest album and probably one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time.
Although, I agree with the other poster that Countdown to Extinction may be a better choice for Rock Band. This is my second favorite Megadeth album.

Maybe they should come out with both.. Because I love playing guitar on expert and trying to hit those fast solos!!
But yea.. CountDown was a good album...

PLEASE!!!! seriously throw a megadroogie a frickin bone! ANYTHING would be so very much appreciated, and ive been keeping an eye on the dlc's religiously just for the one magical day i see megadeth. its getting more and more demoralizing living in a world without mega-dlc.

I'd definately like some Megadeth in Rock Band; easily the #1 band I'd like DLC from. There's so many songs to choose from though.
"Devil's Island" would be a blast to play if I could get past the intro and it'd be fun shouting out the chorus.
"Peace Sells" has that infectious bass line and who wouldn't want to sing/speak those lyrics? Not to mention the fact that it'd kill the guitarist in the end.
"Symphony of Destruction" would be a great mid-tier song for people who like Megadeth but can't play Rock Band on harder difficulties or people who just want a more laid-back song. It's also a pretty popular Megadeth song so I could see myself having a lot of fun playing this with friends.
"Tornado of Souls" would kind of be similar, but with a higher difficulty and the chance to play one of Megadeth's best solos.
Almost anything from their first two albums would be the kind of arthritis delivering hardness that people complain about Rock Band lacking.
