Microphone Issue

So is anyone else having a problem where when you use the mic to speak for a song i.e.: Sabotage by Beastie Boys, you could hit it just right perfectly synced and you still don't get full credit for the phrase? I have no trouble on the pitch on expert. But ALL the talking parts in every song it is horrible even on easy it doesn't give me full credit for the phrase. Any tips or to try to fix this? Or Will I need to send my mic back? I already had to send both my guitar and drum kit back... really depressing to see if I had an entire set that was faulty.

Make sure you are on rhythm and enunciate carefully, focusing on vowel sounds. Also, try adjusting your mic sensitivity to prevent your vocal input from being distorted.
