How much do you think DLC will cost?

There are supposed to be a couple songs released every week. If Guitar Hero 2 charges 500 for 3 songs, I'd expect 400-500 for 2 songs in Rock Band. It'd be AWESOME to have them be free, but that won't happen, and It would even be cool just to see them at a low price like at 200 points.

How much do you think the songs and complete albums will cost?

I hoping for that 400 pt price you suggested, it will probably be very compeitive with GH2/3 prices. For albums I have no idea, probably ~1600 pts which I believe is about $20.

I think it'll be cheaper if for no other reason than just to upstage them. They also need to consider points aren't the same everywhere. We get 1400 for $20 here in Canada so we'd have to spend $40 if we wanted an album. PSN doesn't have the cards yet so it might actually be cheaper on that since they can charge an actual ammount like $1.25 because I don't think they're allowed to charge 83 points on XBL.

Sorry I didn't put it in xbox live points for I have never had to buy them. Also, I'm hoping if they take out new content for your avatar that it will be free to download. But anywho, I'm pretty sure that after like a month of the album being out it will go free like alot of things on xbox live do. In example the Halo 2 maps and such stuff.

i was thinking that too. Probably 800 points for an album. That seems realistic.

10 bucks is 800 points. 1.25 = 100 points

I think $1.50 (120) per song is fair..........a bit more than an itunes song but you get a bunch more stuff obviously

and about 10-12 bucks per album......however with the ability to also pick and choose which songs on an album if you want if you like some songs off the album but dont want the whole thing

If I had a penny for every thread about how much DLC should cost, I wouldn't need to worry about it!
