I don't have rockband yet but I am going to get it for xbox360. I have looked at the editions on the site and I wil get some of those but where do you get country songs for the game? I looked on youtube and there was some on there but I was wondering if there was somewhere i could get that type of version or would I justdownload them offline on xbox live? Thank for any feedback that will help.

You actually have a few options here. If you're looking to get the full package of Rock Band features and gameplay, you should pick up Rock Band 2. The country songs can then be downloaded via Xbox Live for $2 each with discounts for packs. If you're only interested in the Country songs, you can wait a couple weeks and pick up the $29.99 Rock Band Country Track Pack (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139957), which can act as a complete stand-alone game with 21 great Country classics. You won't be able to add more songs to that game, but the songs in it can be downloaded from Xbox Live for play in Rock Band or Rock Band 2 using a download token that will come with the game at no additional cost.

Not all available Country songs will be on the Track Pack (and not every song from the Track Pack will be immediately available on Xbox Live), so if you want them all you'll need to buy Rock Band or Rock Band 2, then use Xbox Live and the Track Pack to obtain all of the country songs. They play the best in Rock Band 2 due to some additional gameplay elements that aren't available in the first version of the game.
