I have a 360 and recently did a self upgrade to a 120gig HDD. I also just installed RB2 to my HDD and now I get an error:
"Loading has failed for an unknown reason. Selected storage device is no longer available."

I think it worked after the upgrade and before the install, but I'm not entirely sure now. This is the only game that has had a problem so far. I don't really want to start from scratch, and room for all the DLC is the main reason I did the upgrade in the first place. Anybody have any thoughts?

Just delete rock band from the harddrive and re-install it.

I've uninstalled, and got the same error. Tried re-installing, same error.

Has anybody seen this before? How can I transfer my saves (Character and band) from one hdd to another?

this is happening to me also on the xbox 360... I've always had the 120 GB HDD and it has always worked.... but for some reason, it is now happening... No problem with the DLC or the RB1 song imports... But all my characters, band and unlockable RB2 songs are not in the game... I go check the memory settings and 4 files appear: "Rock Band 2", "Rock Band 2 Audio/Video Settings", "Rock Band 2 Music Store Data" and "Rock Band 2 Song Cache"... none of it is corrupted... Any help on this? Or do I have to begin ALL over?! thx!
