back to this song... how the hell do they expect u to ace this kinda stuff with the super quick double bass's without having a double bass? i 3.8 starred it on hard the 2nd time through btw

i'm literally pulling my foot off the pedal and pushing it back down before its even back up. a lot of the time the pedal will jump off the rail of the drum set its hooked on.


just a rant i guess. bass pedal really isn't build for these kinda songs at the pace they're being played at. didn't want to have to mod anything but it kinda looks like i'm gonna have to

I keep my heel down and just quickly double-tap the front part of my foot with the heel still down. The pedal doesn't need to move very far up after the first tap.

I think this is the key. You don't have to bring your foot all the way up. Experiment with just bringing it up a little bit. I agree, though, quick double bass notes are some of the hardest for me to pull off.

i don't do heel toe, i keep my leg at 90degrees, pedal pushed in all the time until the notes comes up.

mine just feels like it needs more weight and "meat" to it, know what i mean?
