Wii drums on ps3??

i am wondering if you can actually put the wii drums onto a ps3 system because they are both USB so i assume so.

No, you cannot. Only microphones, drum pedals, and cymbals work between systems.

I'm curious, has anyone actually TRIED to see if a Wii guitar or drums will work on a PS3? The reason I ask is I've used my Wii guitar on my PC (both in Windows and Mac OS X) without any kind of drivers to play Frets on Fire. It just picked it up as a standard game controller. Anyone who has a PS3 guitar try this? Would be interesting to see, maybe the button assignments are different...
